Allator, Tomb ofA tomb located beneath the church in the village of Burcud. The actual tomb is blocked by powerful and mysterious magic. The only known way to pass this barrier is with a particular ring which was last known to be in the possession of Lupisac.
Ashrek, Sword ofThe ancient name of the great monolith in Blackstone. This is the source of good magic (ancient) in the world. More precisely, it is the source of magic that is untained by evil.
AshvanA small town southeast of Blackstone. It was the home of the once-powerful Loghain family.
BlackstoneA large town (pop. 2,500) in the County of Elvormine, in the northwest region of the Duchy of Urdang. It is currently ruled by Lord Morgan Calathes.
Bruog, CountA powerful count in the Kingdom of Korrok. In 1454, he convinces a party of adventurers to steal the Rod of Ulbrik from Callima, a nearby wizardess.
BurcudA small village north of Blackstone in the Duchy of Urdang. The Tomb of Allator is located beneath the church just outside of town.
CallimaA wizardess who, in 1454, resided on a small island in the Kingdom of Korrok. She possessed the Rod of Ulbrik until a party of adventurers invaded her tower and defeated her. She escaped alive, however, and is still on the loose.
Cyrstal KeyA key whose sole purpose was to unlock the door leading to Daggor's Goblet. That key was held by Count Bruog, but in 1454 he traded it to a group of adventurers for the Rod of Ulbrik. The key was then used to unlock the door leading to the goblet. Once used, it lost all magic.
Daggor's GobletA major artifact with the power to influence the populations of whole kingdoms. It was created for a giant warlord from the skull of a dragon and, as a consequence, is actually quite large - more of the size of a cauldron. To activate the power of the artifact, a sinew demon's heart is required. As a major artifact, the goblet is resistant to all attempts to destroy it. There is no known method of destroying Daggor's Goblet.
Dotarra, Kingdom ofA small kingdom in the souther regions of the continent, it is relatively unknown except for one of its towns, Shallow Mound, which is an important religious site.
DragholdThe capital of the Kingdom of the White Sword. Draghold used to be called Strioch, but in 801 Queen Selema renamed it Draghold and makes it her kingdom's capital. It is the largest city in the Kingdom of the White Sword.
FlorrogA small town in the Kingdom of Korrok. In 1454, a group of adventurers travel there on their way to Callima's tower. During their brief stay, the adventurers get into an argument that quickly escalates out of control. In the end, they slay a total of 21 orcs (1 innkeeper, 4 town guards, and 16 soldiers).

Gray IsleHomeland of the elves. The Gray Isle is an island off the east coast of the Duchy of Atrom in the Kingdom of the White Sword. Although small settlements of elves exist throughout the known land, these are only temporary (i.e., existing only a few hundred years at most) and all elves ultimately hail from the Gray Isle. The only other permanent settlement of elves is the small walled town on the mainland closest to the Gray Isle. In general, this is the way to go to the isle. One goes to the small town and takes the shuttle that runs between the town and the island. Note that teleportation and other such spells do not work on the Gray Isle. The only exceptions are the elven mages, all of whom have a ring of teleportation that has been specifically enchanted to allow them to teleport.
Grayson the WiseA powerful elven mage, Grayson was the mentor of Lupisac. In 1454, he aided a group of adventurers in retrieving Daggor's Goblet.
Hallowed TreeA town near the center of the Duchy of Urdang. Mothor Novomira is head of an abbey there. There is a tavern there called the Orc's Whore.
HenrickCleric at the church just outside the village of Burcud. In 1454, he uncovered a tomb he believe to be that of Talas, a legendary hero of the Church. He disappeared, but his body was found by a group of adventurers. It was later determined that the tomb was actually that of Allator, an ancient hero.
Loghain, family ofA noble family that, two hundred years ago, was quite powerful. In recent years they have almost complelety disappeared. Several hundred years ago, they were cursed but in 1454 that curse was finally lifted.
Loghain, Spear ofA powerful spear that was held by the ruling member of the Loghain family. It was broken in two, with the head remaining in the body of a sinew demon that had been summoned in the Loghain castle. The haft was hidden under the altar in the church in Ashvan. In 1454, the sinew demon was slain and the two halves of the spear were reunited by a group of adventurers. The spear was left with the people of Ashvan.
MagnusA mysterious human wizard of unknown origins. He met the party in 1454, when they were hired by Ballod Stonejumper to deliver a message to Abbot Bidwell. Along with the message, Magnus sent one of his own via Lupisac.
MairdellCity near the center of the Duchy of Urdang. It is also a bishopric. Galloran is the current bishop.

Orc's Whore, TheTavern in the town of Hallowed Tree.
Orimar the RedChief battle wizard (see Tal'shaq) of the Gray Isle. Orimar is one of the most powerful and feared wizards in all the known lands.
PensfordVillage in the Blood March. In the summer of 1454, Pensford was overrun by goblins. Among the people captured was Abbot Bidwell, a local clergyman. A group of adventurers freed the town. At the time, Fergus was the town's mayor and Joshua Tansden was a leading citizen.
Ravella CalathesLady of Blackstone since 1455, when she married Morgan Calathes, Ravella is a young woman (17 years of age) who has been training in the ways of wizardry. Trapped within a tesseract for two thousand years, she was rescued in 1454 by a party of adventurers that included Lupisac and Morgan. Lupisac, an elven wizard, adopted her as his ward and supported her financially.
Sollux, Pit ofThe name of the ancient source of evil magic (ancient). It is located somewhere in the southern lands, though none know where.
Stonejumper, BalladA wealthy dwarven businessman in Blackstone and unofficial leader of the dwarven community therein. In the summer of 1454, he received a message from an old friend, Mother Novomira. Advised by Magnus, he hired a group of adventurers to deliver a message to another friend, Abbot Bidwell in the village of Pensford.
Tal'shaqBattle wizards of the Gray Isle. While normal (relatively speaking) guardsmen guard the elven town on the mainland, the Tal'shaq guard the city itself. They are wizards who specialize in battle and are often as proficient with swords as they are with spells. The Tal'shaq are headquartered in the Tower of Swords, one of the four great elven Towers of Wizardry. The Tal'shaq is led by Orimar the Red.
Tansden, JoshuaBlacksmith of the small town of Pensford and one of its leading citizens. In the summer of 1454, Pensford was overrun by goblins and the townspeople were all captured. A group of adventurers freed the town. Joshua assisted this group in the final assault on the tower the goblins held.
TorrallFather of Ravella and a wizard who perished hundreds of years prior to the regin of Allator.
Towers of WizardryAt the southern end of the elven city on the Gray Isle, these four towers stand taller than any other known structure. They are known individually as the Tower of Enchantments, the Tower of Swords, the Tower of Souls, and the Tower of Mages. The Tower of Swords is the headquarters for the Tal'Shaq and the Tower of Mages is home to the most powerful wizards.
VesperA human female who adventured briefly in the summer of 1454. She disappeared under mysterious circumstances, without explanation to any who knew her.
