Character Classes

This document presents world-specific notes for the classes that are available for play. Except as noted in this document, all classes are available for play using the rules outlined in the Player's Handbook. Further, a player may freely mix races and classes, with only those exceptions listed in the Player's Handbook and the few others mentioned below.

Cleric

Clerics of the Church of the Creators are created as per the rules for generic clerics found in the Player's Handbook. Specifically, a cleric should select two domains which will be his or her specialty. He will then gain the domain spells and granted powers of those domains. In cases where a power or spell depends on the preferences of the deity (e.g., the War Domain grants Weapon Focus with the deity's favored weapon), then the player may select his preference, subject to the final approval of the DM.

Druid

There are two types of druids. The first worships Moder as the mother of nature. Among human druids, this is the more common belief, although it may be found among all races that have druids.

The second calls upon no supernatural entity but rather draws their divine power from nature itself. They believe that nature is a powerful, supernatural force and while it has no consciousness, nevertheless it still has a will. Such druids do not deny the presence of the First. Rather, they claim that the First are themselves children of the greater force of nature. They do, however, deny Fader and Moder, at least insofar as the Church understands the creators.

Such belief is considered heretical by official Church dogma, but organized persecutions have not occurred in a long time. However, smaller persecutions may occur at the behest of local zealots.

Monk

Because the nature of the class does not fit in well in a world based on medieval Western Europe, monks are not found in the eastern realms of the land. However, to the west are cultures that are more in line with a monk's background. Thus, any monk character should come from the east.
